Wearing Her June is a study on the relationship between ephemeral moments and timelessness. The present is already in the past, while the future is just becoming present.
Panoramic photos taken over the course of June, spontaneously capture moments of the day in random locations.
All photographs, arranged in a grid, create a pattern, mapping the artist’s presence at that given moment. Flowy, luxurious scarves made of silk turn into a canvas that preserves the fluidity of time, pointing out how something temporary and trivial can become permanent and precious.
An insignificant, yet glorified, personal experience in space and time.
Wearing Her June consists of three scarves.
Her June, including the complete collection of images taken during June.
Her Urban June with images captured in urban settings
Her Natural June only featuring shots of nature
Spaces have been left intentionally blank on two of the scarves for those moments that are not present.
