Τα καλούδια της θάλασσας / ta kaloudia tis thalassas / is a seafood market that also cooks its fair to order. The name in Greek means “gifts from the sea.”
The logo unites a boat with a fish as a direct reference to the owner’s fleet. The fishing boats sail in the Aegean Sea and supply the market with fresh-caught fish. The customers can have their pick cooked and, ultimately enjoy a tasty meal at home without the hassle.
The packaging for the cooked fish includes four different in color and size boxes, one for each boat in the fleet. Vibrant solid colors match the colors of the boats in real life to emphasize the strong connection with the end product. A short background story is printed on the side of the box, visible when opened.
Captain Yannis: The commander. Captain Yannis is experienced and forged by the sea. He knows his way around fish and how to cook them right, following traditions that generations of fishermen have cherished.
Ermioni: The beauty. Ermioni is a woman of mythical beauty who inspires all fishermen when out in the deep waters. Nobody can say 'no' to her, or the fresh fish she reels in and cooks to perfection.
Sirius: The traveler. Sirius is adventurous. He likes to explore new territories, to discover flavors and smells from all the islands on his path. Unique spices and herbs take the fresh fish that Sirius catches to the next level.
Naukleros: The boat-keeper. Naukleros knows very well what the boat and crew needs when out and about in the sea. He also knows what it takes to make fresh fish delicious to eat.
Fresh fish are wrapped in a standard paper cone - with a twist. Instead of a plain piece of thick paper, the print depicts the fishing boats as they sail on the blue waters.
