Ioannis Vatistas wine estate is a group of small vineyards near Monemvasia in Peloponnese, Greece.
Barren fields were transformed into fertile, well-drained soils that produce exceptional wine grapes. Most of the vineyards are located on the mountain slope overlooking the sea where one can enjoy the breathtaking view of the sunset.
The logo design was based on blending the two key elements: the sunset and the vineyards. The circle is for the sun. The tilted line beneath it represents the wild land which is now -thanks to the vines- producing crops.
The label for Orizon wine was also created. Orizon is Greek for horizon from which the linear concept derives, retaining a relation to the identity. The bold choice of colors distinguishes the Ioannis Vatistas wine bottles from their competitors on the shelf which traditionally use lighter colors.
